To ALL the Mama's

To all the mama’s that are crying
alone in the bathroom,
I see you.

To all the mama’s who don’t
feel good enough at times,
I see you.

To all the mama’s who ask if
they are a good mother?...
I see you.

To all the mama’s that feel alone...
I see you.

To all the mama’s who want a gold star every time they take the kid(s) to the grocery store and survive...
I see you.

To all the mama’s taking judgement from elders who think they know best...
I see you.

I want to hug the mama in her pj’s at the store about to cry because she’s had it but she keeps going.

I want to hug the mama who swore up and down she wouldn’t let her kid(s) watch tv but let’s them so She herself can have some time.

Often times we go through emotions of motherhood and want to hide in the bathroom or swallow our tears as we don’t want to “confess” our weakness.

I want to break this boundary of secrecy and be RAW and REAL. I know I am not that only mama that goes through these thoughts, feelings, and emotions..yet we hide or hush up when they surface.

Us mother’s have to realize we are a tribe. We have created life on the planet and are so incredibly strong for doing so.

Know you are never alone in what you are going/growing through.

Reach out. Be raw. Be real. Cry when you need to. Laugh when you want to.

This is motherhood. And we are ALL bad ass for being the Mother’s we are.
